I know there are other organized bike rides to consider on this day, but will they have Uncle Steve and his VIP birthday tent, will they have a bonfire, oh, okay, will they have hot coffee…vegan hot dogs and cookies…a DJ…and beverages! So, c’mon over to Marysville and race your bike, release your aggression, sweat your Halloween hangover to the northern gales and make room for another one, and lift your ale in a birthday toast to cyclocross patron Uncle Steve. -

Race is at 18600 Barker Rd Marysville, OH 43040-9206
FROM ALL POINTS WEST AND SOUTH:
Take I-270, Merge onto US-33 W via EXIT 17B toward MARYSVILLE, Take the US-36 W/OH-4 S exit toward OH-245/URBANA/SPRINGFIELD, Take the NORTHWEST PARKWAY ramp toward OH-245 W/MARYSVILLE, Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the OH-245 ramp toward MARYSVILLE, Merge onto CR-133 E/NORTHWEST PKWY this will become W 5TH ST, Turn LEFT onto RAYMOND RD/CR-191. There will be a gas station on your right and a cemetery on your left…
Drive about 2 miles and then, Turn LEFT onto BARKER RD. Barker Rd. is easy to miss, but there is a nursery on the left hand side at the corner of Barker and 191, and Barker is not too far after you pass a big water works construction site. End at 18600 Barker Rd Marysville, OH 43040-9206.
FROM THE NORTHEAST OHIO REGION: Mapquest suggested back roads, but I believe taking I-71 south to I-270 south to US-33 may be faster….
The house is on the right side of the road. The drive way will be blocked off.
PARKING IS BEYOND THE DRIVEWAY AT THE END OF THE PROPERTY LINE IN FRONT YARD. THERE WILL BE WELL MARKED SIGNS DIRECTING VEHICLES TO A SPECIFIC ENTRANCE OFF THE ROAD.
- Course Description:
Get ready for a tight twisty mostly flat loop. There will be some false flat climbing, some off camber 180’s, and some BUMPY fast flat sections. There are 3 sections of wide open wooded trails and one section that runs along the Kutney pond. If its rainy, the sections near the pond will be bog-like, so keep that in mind. 2 or 3 dismounts scattered throughout the course. One short flat pavement section, the rest is mostly grass, of which a tiny bit can be considered double track. Oh, and did I mention that the course is very spectator friendly, so bring a friend! Drums, a bonfire, a guitarist, a DJ, a ____ tent, the scent of freshly brewed coffee, and various costumed hooligans will create an ambiance as you battle the topography and weather…
